Liz Low, a ceramic artist working in Victoria, has managed to capture ‘the plasticity and translucency found in porcelain and moving water’ in these expressive wheel thrown forms. The subtle colours of the celadon glazes are beautifully balanced with the fluid and sensual shapes. Reminiscent of Alvar Aalto’s famous vase, these works mimic the properties of water, and are sure to be wonderful centrepieces in the home.
