yellow treehouse

Can you believe this beautiful tree house restaurant really exists? Well it sure does… it’s at home ten metres up a redwood tree and located in a top secret location near Warkworth, north of Auckland, New Zealand.
The project was the brainchild of Kiwi Tracey Collins and has got off the ground, quite literally with the help of yellowpages. For more inspiring info and to read about how it came to be, go to this link here at yellow tree house. What a lovely concept! I like the simplistic, natural architecture. Must have an amazing view!
It's gorgeous! What a dream project, I would love to go visit. There are German architects who also design treehouses. One day I hope to do the same! http://www.baumraum.de/index.php?pid=5

I wish tolive in one of those houses. But anywy dreat design ideea.
I would love to have such a great tree house, but the closest one I can get in the Dells is at the Kalahari Resort - not too much fun, is it now?
Round-shaped treehouses are available in the US too. You can get one for ~$150K. It is kinda hanging, attached by cables to 3-4 trees. Still it is hard to imagine living in a house like this. No bathroom :-)
