Maiike is a collection of ‘Soft Things’ lovingly handmade by Melbourne based Aly Peel. She sources old woollen jumpers from second hand and vintage stores, and transforms them by cutting and felting into precious soft toys, patchwork squares for cushions, scarves and quilts. We love how she combines different textures, patterns and colours to create these warm and cozy items which are just perfect for our winter here now in Australia.

just saw Aly\'s beautiful creations at a large craft exhibition in northern Tasmania and they are even more lovely to see and especially soft to touch. i love that she is re-using materials to create simple, stunning and interesting things with a variety of textures.
